Change Profile using Modify Properties

Because profile type information is managed with the DataGroup System, it is possible for you to quickly change the Profile that in turn apply different profile cell.

For instance, selecting the profile, and clicking (Modify Properties) opens Modify Profile dialog for the profile's instance data.

Changing Base Modeling to Chair Rail type applies New value to Cell Symbol that reflect change to profile geometry.

Selecting the different catalog item from the pull down list opens Change Type dialog. Applying new type to the profile takes New value to cell corresponding to the selected type. The predefined Cell Symbol Name value in the Profile Properties gets applied to the profile being modified.
